When my nephew, Alex,  was just 10 months old, I was giving him a bath when he slipped. Thankfully, he was okay, but it was a scary moment that opened my eyes to a bigger problem. He had outgrown his infant tub but was still too small for a full-sized bathtub, leaving him vulnerable to accidents.

I knew I couldn’t be the only one facing this challenge, so I started digging deeper. What I found shocked me. Over 43,000 children are sent to the ER every year because of bath-related injuries, and kids under 5 make up 75% of all bathtub fatalities. It was heartbreaking, and I couldn’t ignore it.
